Dome
The
Nowhere '04 central dome was a 30 ft pvc structure covered with agricultural polytunnel tarp. The material was very breathable and wind passed through easily. The structure was pinned to the ground with 3 ft/1 mtr rebar. It wasn't waterproof and all power had to be switched off during the sunday downpour. This could have been avoided by building a smaller waterproof enclosure for the
SoundSystem and
PowerSupply.
This dome will be used as the home for
InDeSkies at
Nowhere '05. There is a 64 ft green parachute in London which can be used to cover it. I think we can hang a 24ft white parachute from the inside which will not only look very flash but will act as a double block to the scorching Iberian heat. No Smoking!
