He-di-hi campers
As some of you may know when I am not playing dress up across international borders I have to earn my crust as a nurse, and
BigEd when not playing with fire (my mummy told me people who play with fire wet the bed, but that's not for here) is a paramedic between us we hope to ensure that we provide the safe adult playground that we call Nowhere.
Obviously if there is a serious medical emergency we will get help from the appropriate authority and we will be bring a substantial kit which should be able to deal with most things in the event of any bad shit, obviously that will not be the case but radical self reliance dictates that we should be able to look after our selves. However things happen people get sick either self-inflicted or just the general maladies that befall people either at a festival or just at home watching TV. So for that reason either myself or
BigEd need to be informed if anyone has any major medical problems so that should anything happen so we can deal with them efficiently and know when they need help beyond our means.
This includes:
- Long standing conditions like asthma, epilepsy, diabetes,
- Any medications you are taking? Have recently stopped taking?
- Are you allergic to any food or medicines? No matter how trivial do let us know as many medicines contain random things you wouldn't expect in medicines?
- Is anyone coming who is, or maybe pregnant
- Anything confidential, if you tell either myself or Ed then it will be treated in the strictest confidence. we may not always appear so but we are both very skilled professionals and if there is anything we need to know we will treat it with respect.
People who are taking medications should bring enough to last them their entire duration and longer should something happen.
Please can People be sure to visit the post office and get your E111 form filled in and stamped, this entitles you to free emergency medical care in EU countries. Those outside the UK or Ireland I'm not sure how this works for you but you should have a similar set up Tip: Can be printed online∞

I will be bring a basic stock of lotions and potions to deal with minor things like sunburn, bruises, cuts and scrapes, etc. but people should bring a basic stock of bandages, plasters, moisturisers anti-septics and such forth.
Sorry if this sounds a bit negative, but we're trying to plan ahead. If you plan ahead fuck all happens, if you don't shit hits the fan - that's Murphy's law.
Would people be interested in a little workshop one day in one of the domes kinda like an hour session what you can do to save your best friends life??? or what not to do if you want that cunt who you've always secretly hated not to make it through the night for those of you with more malifessence than altruism flowing through your body!
The hot heat, the exertion of setting up the camp, the risk of dehydration and the naughty things that people do at such events can leave people a little worse for wear. Everyone wants everyone else to have a fantastitsclimcly good time and a safe one so if you're not feeling well let someone know.
