There are no spectators at NoWhere. Spectator events do nothing to include or encourage individual interaction unless it is with a vendor.
There are countless events which encourage people to simply pay up, turn up and consume. We say we don't need vendors and franchises, we don't need mega stars, we don't need Events Inc to show us how to have a party. We do it all ourselves. Participation can take many forms and there is always something for everyone to get involved in.
As well as making art, performing and dressing up, there are many other ways to participate. The entire site has to be constructed and removed. You can help build and decorate communal shelter, toilets, bars, showers, a massage parlour? You could become part of the clear-up team. The list is as big as your imagination!
The alternative is to just stand around and look.
You can do that anywhere but NoWhere.
