What is a decompression?
A Decompression party is the name given to a post-Burning Man regional event, where burners and non-burners get together to celebrate all things Burning Man. It is a chance to find out about the most awe-inspiring event on the planet, meet old friends, make new ones, create art, play with fire, revel in our core source of inspiration - OURSELVES!
It is not restricted to burners, anyone can attend, but B.M. “codes of practice” are encouraged. This means that you are invited to Participate in some aspect of creating the event, be it building, décor, performing, bar work, clearing up or even simply getting into your wildest outfit! Please be aware that it takes a lot of work to put on Decompression and it is only as good as the people involved. That means YOU.

participating. We wish to discourage an event full of spectators!
